Choices

I found this picture online and I love the message. First, it is a reminder that despite any past events, present stressors or future concerns, I can choose happiness. I can choose empowerment. I can choose my behaviors and responses to events. I can choose my thoughts. Also, it is easy to forget personal power, especially when life is so stressful. I added a few everyday routines to improve my overall wellness, like make my bed everyday, drink more water, take meds, diffuse essential oils. Seems silly to have those behaviors as part of my change process, but they are concrete, measurable, and achievable goals that I know will increase my happiness. Also, they are the first behaviors I throw out the window when my life gets too stressful. I am not sure how to wrap-up this post. I am contemplating the possibility of a weekly post which is dedicated to the progress on this new routines... We shall see :)
